I've seen every Fred Astaire movie about a gazillion times. Nothing cooler – or sexier – than a man who can DANCE.

Savannah - Happy 4th you you! "Holiday Inn" is one of my favorite movies and it's the first time 'White Christmas" was ever sung.
Moi - !!!!!!!! In college Mr. Boxer and I went to a Fred/Ginger Film Festival (this was before VHS/etc) where they played all 12 of their movies over a period of 6 weeks. I was in heaven. I wear my pinkie ring because it's identical to the one he always wore. At a young age, I thought it was so very, very cool. Don't you love how he tied his belts? I could go on and on...... Happy 4th!
Troll - Fred Astaire reportedly called Michael Jackson the night he first did the Moonwalk for the Motown special and told him it was amazing. The only bad thing about this dance number is it made me want to smoke.

Love this! I don't think I have seen it either, which is amazing since I watched all those old movies as a kid too. Who knew that old Fred Astaire invented stage pyrotechnics????
K9 - bwahahahah - I was watching Thriller the other night and thought of you. Can you imagine what you could do with just a few "lady finger" firecrackers??
Pam - Holiday Inn also starred Bing Crosby and I like this one because Fred Astaire wasn't the nice guy... he was kinda an ass. But, the guy could dress and dance.
I remember that movie and that dance.
